We decided to go to Richmond today, to visit the Rosie the Riveter Museum.
It’s run by the National Park Service and, as always, I was impressed by how well put together it is. They even had a display on disability employment during the war!
Sam lasted about 15 minutes, which is pretty good for him! He loved the movies at some displays.
After that, we left Theo and Chris inside to continue the museum while we strolled along the shoreline for an hour, watching the boats.
Then Chris and Theo went on the ship USS Red Oak Victory. Sam and I were going to join them, but there was a snafu with the coupon, so we opted not to spend the extra money. Instead, Sam and I chilled on a bench in the sun. So this is my only pic of the ship for you!
