McMinnville! We went to McMinnville to get together with one of my Rockin Mom friends and her four kids. We met at an indoor water slide park called Evergreen Wings and Waves. SO cool! The boys were in heaven.
That’s a real 747 perched atop the building. They hollowed it out and built water slides inside the 747–you start up there and slide all the way down to the ground. There are four (or five?) big slides that plunge down from the 747, and then tons of smaller slides, water play structures, water basketball, and wave pools, too.
Sam is much too small for the big slides, but he looooved the little one!
Hopefully this video will post, because it’s super cute:
The water park is on the same property as the Evergreen Aviation Museum, so after SIX HOURS of water play, we took the boys there for a quick peek at the Spruce Goose and my favorite, the SR-71. Look how enormous the Spruce Goose is!
For comparison, look at the regular size helicopter by its tail:
We went to Laughing Planet for dinner so I could again get this salad I love. Seriously, probably the best salad I’ve ever eaten. We need a Laughing Planet near us!
Tomorrow, we’re Seattle-bound!
